KHAZANKIN, Roman Grigoryevich
KHAZANKIN, Roman Grigoryevich (b.3.4.1947 in Tyantsin, China), Educationalist. People’s Teacher of the RB (2008), Merited General Education School Teacher of the RSFSR (1987), Merited Teacher of the RB (2007). Laureate of the USSR State Award (1990), N.K.Krupskaya’ Award (1985), RF Government Award in field of Education (2006). Awarded with the 2nd Class Medal of the Order for Merits to the Fatherland (2001). Graduated from the Magnitogorsk Ped. Institute (1970), since 1973 he continued his career there. Since 1975, he worked in general education schools of Beloretsk. Between 1990–2013, he worked at Beloretsk Computer School, which he had founded, simultaneously, between 1992–99, he taught at Vyatka Ped. Institute and between 2002–11 – at the BSPU. Kh. developed the vertical pedagogy, a term which refers to the technology of teaching mathematics, according to which elder students should help their teacher younger ones.
