ABUKAYEVA Lyubov Alekseevna (b. 25.12. 1969), linguist. Doctor of Philology (2005). Her research is devoted to Mari linguistics and folklore (study of prohibitions, ceremonial ethnic songs and chastushkas), etc. Author of more than 130 research papers. Compiler of the collection “Songs of the Eastern Mari” (1991); compiler and author of the preface and translations of the collection “Wedding songs of the Mishkinskiy Mari” (2009; all: in Yoshkar­ Ola), etc.
