I.KH.KHIDIYATOV HOSPICE

I.KH.KHIDIYATOV HOSPICE, a full‑time stay department of palliative care, covered by the republic funds. It was foundin DerevnyaSalavatovo of Abzelilovsky Raion of the RB in 2000 as part of AskarovoCentral Hospital, in 2004 it was namedafter its founder Candidate of MedicalSciences, Honorary doctor of the RB I.Kh.Khidiyatov. It is an inpatient hospitalof mixed type for hospitalization of incurable cancer patients, as well as those whohave suffered from heart‑attack, spine cordand spine injuries, multiple sclerosis, cervical hip fracture, terminal stage of liver cirrhosis and other severe chronic diseases thatrequire symptomatic treatment. The averagepatient age range in this Hospice is 60—66 years. It comprises 7 wards, includingthe isolation ward, massage office, archive,kitchen, household room, recreation roomwith a library, religious room, and others.The Hospice also has a residential yard. In 2018, it had about 30 employees, one of them was a general physician and 10 were healthcare workers. In 2016, the communityaid was provided to 275 patients.
