BAGAUTDINOV, Rais Gubaydullovich (15.1.1926, Posyolok Verkhne-­Uslinsky of Sterlitamak Canton of the BASSR, now Selo Verkhniye Usly of Sterlitamaksky Raion of the RB – 12.6.2018, Ibid.), Hero of Socialist Labour (1966). Merited Zootechnician of the BASSR (1980). Awarded with the Order of Lenin (1966, 1976), Order of the October Revolution (1971), Order of Peoples’ Friendship (1981). Participant in the Great Patriotic War. Since 1951, he worked in Sterlitamaksky Raion: since 1956 Chairman of Bayrak Kolkhoz, between 1962–87 Chairman of Kolkhoz named after Salavat. Under the leadership of B., Kolkhoz named after Salavat achieved high performance in livestock breeding and plant growing: the average annual yield from a cow increased from 2,300 to 2,700 kg (in 1962–66); the yield of grain crops amounted to 28.6 centner/ha in 1968; 33.1 – in 1977; 34.5 – in 1983.
